The Welfare Ministry is a unit of the Ministry that caters to the spiritual as well as the physical well-being of those that are less privileged. The Bible enjoins us to take care of the needy, the poor, the homeless, widows, orphans, and the fatherless. It is the responsibilities of this group to ensure these people are taken care of through its resources from donors and well-wishers.
The Children and the Youth Ministry is a department in Zionic that ensures that children particularly the youth are brought in the way of the Lord. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22 vs. 6 “to train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. It is the object of the Children/Youth Ministry to give all children, through the help of the Holy Spirit, the divine direction that will map out a godly future for them for the future. The Children/Youth Ministry organizes various religious events to enhance the spiritual, mental and the physical development of our children.
This group is the prayer group of the ministry. This ministry is made up of prayer warriors and intercessors whose functions are to be praying and stand in the gap for the members of the church and the public in need of prayers. Those that visit the church as well as those that submit prayer requests via the internet are attended to by the members of the Prayer Group. This group intercedes on a weekly basis during prayer meetings at the church for growth and sustenance of the church and its members. The Prayer & Intercessory group also organizes prayer crusades and revivals at specified and strategic locations throughout the nation.
